Pro-Life Open Micer Celebrates Birth of His Sixth Child

Self-described failure, Davidson Boswell, 30, stepped off the stage to deafening silence with a big smile. The fact that no one had laughed at his set or even bothered to look up from their phones could not dampen his spirits: he was about to welcome his 5th son into the world.

Our reporter, Bathsheba, 16, sat down with the self-described “thought leader” for a brief interview underneath a leaky pipe in the basement of a pizzeria.

Q: Wow, your 6th child, you must be so excited.

A: Yes. My wife and I are so lucky God has blessed us with our sixth child in eight years.

Q: It is such a blessing. What does your wife do for a living?

A: She is also an open micer on unemployment.
